Freire Charter School is a new 45,000 sf , 5th thru 8th grade learning center, located in the heart of center city Philadelphia. The design of the project focused on Freire’s commitment to enhancing education. sfs developed a program based on Freire’s philosophy of student freedom and personal interest and worked to create an environment that emphasizes individuality as well as community values. Bright colors, wide corridors, and plenty of student achievement display strengthens the unique path that the school envisions.
